I started training with Nicole in December 2021. I hadn't been in the gym in a while because of some health issues, but wanted to get in shape and build strength both for my own long-term health but also to get in shape for my wedding! Nicole was amazing from day 1. She was supportive and made the training environment seem safe and much less daunting. She has always pushed me to try new things, whether that is lifting heavier or doing a new exercise. I have achieved so much in the last few months, none of which would have been possible without Nicole! The full experience has been so helpful for me - weekly check-ins and help in setting goals for macros and calories has helped me to stay on track. Nicole's knowledge of functional fitness and how nutrition and other factors affect our ability to train is honestly mind-blowing. I am always learning from her and to top it all off she's a lovely, kind, funny, empathetic and driven person. If you're considering personal training, look no further. You won't regret it!

My experience so far has been beyond phenomenal! Sarah has been such an amazing coach and a mentor to me, guiding me throughout this whole journey. There was a time when walking into a gym scared me and weights just intimidated me. But after suffering from an ankle injury leading to excessive weight gain... I came across BASE gym and went in for a free consultation session. I walked out as a new person after that session! I started training with Nicole in June 2021. I was nervous starting at the gym because i find gyms quite intimidating and I would not have known what to do in the gym but Nicole could not have been more encouraging and motivating. She is very hard working and considerate to her clients as regarding work schedules. Her workouts were tough and challenging but week after week I saw my form and my strength improve and results started to show after only a few weeks. Nicole is a fantastic trainer and she is extremely dedicated to her job. I dreaded every session but I always left feeling happy and stronger afterwards and this is all thanks to Nicole. I started working with Nicole in May 2021 in preparation for my Wedding and completed two cycles with her. I have completed PT programs before and I have never seen the results I saw this time around. This was my first time focusing on my diet as I was always skeptical of how maintainable "diets" are but I was wrong. Nicole provided me with the tools and education in understanding how to fuel my body and understand why consistency is key (my portion sizes were out of control before this). I loved that this wasn't a chicken, rice and broccoli approach and I could still eat what I wanted. The result spoke for themselves and while there were some check ins with slow progress, Nicole never dwelled on that and we started the following week with the intention and mindset to improve. There was never a stupid question and Nicole was always available for catch up. The workouts were diverse and challenging and I saw my strength and form improve very quickly. Getting a workout in and the step count in have now become part of my routine and my life is better for it!Nicole is the full package and cares about you mentally, physically and emotionally. I am happier in myself mentally and physically since trusting Nicole and the process. Consistency is the key to sustaining your goal and Nicole is the person to kick start you on your journey. I trained consistently with Nicole for 12 weeks doing 2 personal training sessions a week in person before emigrating and had amazing results both in fat loss and muscle gain! Nicole is super supportive and attentive with clients, she incorporated specific exercises I really wanted to learn and I wanted feel comfortable doing on my own in a gym setting - which we achieved in no time with her guidance and her teaching me the techniques!I have a previous knee injury and we worked to strengthen the knee without over working it (which is one major bonus I am so delighted about) Nicole also adjusted my sessions to work well with other cardio classes I was going to - so I was never burnt out!I now train a few times a day in CrossFit classes and gyms here in Asia and I would have never been able to even consider joining prior to training with Nicole.she has a fantastic approach - very friendly and so helpful!

Cannot recommend all at NB Fitness enough! When I started the gym in summer with Nicole I had no knowledge of strength training and found gyms quite intimidating. I first started with Nicole in June as I'm getting married next year but also felt I wasn't so motivated due to the past year with lockdowns etc. I never thought I would get the results I have while still enjoying the odd few drinks or meal out. I've learned so much from nutrition to training. I also didn't know how bad my posture was but now it has improved so much with home mobility exercises. Its crazy to see even the little improvements each week, if its an extra couple of reps or a heavier weight, I love it!Upon the initial call I knew this is exactly what I needed. Had a check in at my first PT session and check in each week, even seeing the difference in the photos from where I started until now is just wow, how the time flew and I enjoyed every minute of it :-) From each week on Nicole was always there if I needed to ask a question, no matter how silly it might have been! :-P The information and communication is second to none.I am enjoying the process and honestly didn't think I would still be doing it but I've changed my relationship with food and training for long term not just short term and its all down to Nicole! We still have another few months to go which I'm so grateful for and look forward to it all.I would highly recommend Nicole, an amazing coach and human being :-)

My health and fitness journey started with Nicole in person when she was in Australia, prior to the lockdown and continues today with much success! When Melbourne went into lockdown in 2020, Nicole and I continued our program and she was and has been a driving force in my mental and physical health. During this time she also made the move back home to Ireland and she didn’t miss a beat with me, showing up to every training session prepared and with her famous big, wide smile!Nicole excels as a trainer and a human! She understands that one program does not fit all and she has worked with me on my specific goals of maintaining health and building strength, pivoting along the way as needed. I would highly recommend online personal fitness training from Nicole which I received as a mothers day gift initially from my daughter who was attending personal training with Nicole.What a great gift I did receive and my body definitely needed it and continues to need it.As a late comer to personal training I was provided with appropriate fitness training under Nicole who works with one at the level they are at.She provided guided training at each session and I quickly realized the importance of strength training as one ages.Each exercise was carried out by her first and I was guided all the way through and corrected if I attempted to carry out the routines in the wrong manner which was of great solace to me.There was great guidance from Nicole who made sure I did not injure myself in any way.I could contact her by email at anytime if I needed to ask her any question about my routines or if I was unsure of what workout I should be doing.It has greatly empowered me and I feel much fitter following the training from a true professional and she has given me the tools to continue this essential training alternate days each week.This personal training is invaluable to maintain healthy bones and strength and improved balance as one ages as one needs to reduce the risk of falls and fractures and posssible hospitalisation.My fitness has improved greatly since I took up personal training thanks to Nicoles guidance.

I approached Nicole for help with the intention of getting fitter healthier and more flexible . Nicole listened attentively to my needs, injuries and concerns. She started me off very slowly and patiently building on this all the time watching that I was doing the exercise correctly to avoid injury. It was Nicole's encouragement and humour that keep me going. She also advise me about the importance of fueling the body with the correct foods & water to sustain me through the day and of course the daily walks& fresh air. Nicole even advised me to buy waterproof cloths for the rainy Irish weather. She was not joking with this. I would highly recommend Nicole she is an amazing coach!!

I started training with Aidean in April 2022 and am very happy with the progress we have made through our PT sessions! Aidean and Nicole are both really positive and inspirational! They tailor my weekly workouts to suit my ability. Initially I started by strength training for the half marathon in June and they took my goal into account when putting together the workouts. I asked for a gym program for the days I don’t have PT also and they were happy to provide them. Aidean is very positive towards events and nights out I have planned. I am able to track meals on these days without fear of being reprimanded if my calories are over. I find this flexibility so important for staying on track long term! I look forward to all my sessions with Aidean, she pushes me to hit PBs that I didn’t think I could reach. She’s always happy to answer any questions I have and I am always learning new things! She’s also a really lovely person. The new space they opened is fabulous - bright, airy and welcoming! I feel so much better physically and mentally through working with Aidean and Nicole. I am overall really happy with the experience and looking forward to seeing what we achieve together going forward!

I cannot begin to describe how brilliant Base Fitness is. The girls are so motivating and make you feel like you can and will achieve anything. They put the personal into personal training and make sure that each session you do is always at the best pace possible. They both work with such an air of can do, positivity, perfectionism , kindness and professionalism while also being great fun and making you smile.I originally started with Nicole in 2018 in a different gym at 27 stone and when I heard she had opened back up in Cork I literally ran to the door- Her kindness, empathy and understanding of a battle she has never faced is something I will always be grateful for.
